Pacific Fair Heads Trackside For A Good Cause
Pacific Fair will be throwing their support behind the Rotary Club of Surfers Paradise this weekend for the Mockridge Memorial Race Day.
Organisers are expecting a bumper crowd of over 450 punters to take part in the trackside excitement.
This is the third year Rotary has held the race day in honour of Gold Coast business couple Graham and Josie Mockridge, who were tragically killed five years ago in the UK while attending an International Rotary Conference.
Complementing the day of fun and festivities will be a Pacific Fair fashion parade featuring the latest designs from centre retailers. There will also be fabulous prizes up for grabs including shopping sprees at Pacific Fair, accommodation packages, golf packages, homewares and much more.
All monies raised on the day will be donated to The Rotary Club of Surfers Paradise, who assist a variety of other worthwhile local charities such as QLD Cancer Foundation, Save Water Save Lives and the Cerebral Palsy Foundation at Parkwood, to name a few.
Pacific Fair Retail Marketing Manager Kate Cox said the race day provided the centre with a great opportunity to do what they do best – showcasing the latest fashions from a wide range of retailers.
“At the same time we are able to support a very worthwhile cause with all the proceeds from the Mockridge Memorial Race Day going towards local charities,” Ms Cox said.
