PACIFIC FAIR TAKE CENTRE STAGE – THURSDAY 12 JUNE

Ladies of the Gold Coast can receive the full star treatment at Pacific Fair this Thursday (12 June) – the catch is that their hour of luxury will be on the house.

Shoppers can enjoy free hair straightening by ghd stylists, makeovers by Napoleon make-up artists, personal styling by resident fashion expert Susie McWatt Forbes and a hand spa from L’Occitane as part of Pacific Fair’s Be A Star At GC Bazaar event.

The Be A Star event will take place at Centre Stage from 5pm to 9pm with soon-to-be stars moving from one 15 minute pampering session to the next with a full four-treatment session lasting 60 minutes.

The first 100 ladies to complete their speed makeover will receive a movie pass to see Sex and the City. On top of this a purchase from any Pacific Fair retailer on the night will put shoppers in the draw to win a $500 FIX Hair Beauty Solutions voucher, a $1000 Myer voucher or the grand prize of a trip for two to New York.

Pacific Fair Retail Marketing Manager Kate Cox said the event was aimed at helping shoppers to feel good about themselves by providing body beautiful services free-of-charge.

“We wanted to create an event that gave as many women as possible a chance to feel like a star for a day by offering them the full celebrity treatment,” Ms Cox said.

“We came up with the Be A Star event as a way of really engaging people in all the GC Bazaar festivities and giving people a chance to indulge in the wonderful luxuries on offer at Pacific Fair,” she said.

During GC Bazaar Pacific Fair will also be hosting the Tamblyn Model Discovery on Saturday 7 June and Sunday 8 June, Apex Australian Teenage Fashion Awards on Saturday 14 June, Pacific Fair Shopping Tours every Saturday through June and basketball clinics with the Gold Coast Blaze on the weekends of 21, 22, 28 and 29 June.
